What we do to be a responsible manager

Investing responsibly

CVC DIF is a responsible infrastructure manager, aiming to deliver high-performing infrastructure investments that create sustainable long-term value for our stakeholders.

We believe that we earn our social license by improving the future for people and the places where they live and work through investments in essential infrastructure. This is achieved by acquiring high-quality infrastructure investments with insight, scaling and enhancing their impact, and rigorously tracking and capturing portfolio performance.

Being a responsible manager

At CVC DIF, we emphasise sustainability to drive financial performance, because we believe sustainable long-term value creation is maximised when our values and objectives align with our stakeholders.

This conviction has enabled us to be successful in sectors as diverse as high speed fibre, where we connect communities to the digital economy, and co-located solar and battery storage to power the transition to a lower carbon future.

We are privileged to partner with our investors, as together we believe we can create meaningful connections and accelerate the energy transition.

Responsible investment strategy

We implement a diligent investment selection process, leveraging our agility as a mid-market player, while intentionally scanning a diverse investment space.

We evaluate and enhance sustainability, professionalise investments with robust governance, and drive towards decarbonisation and Net Zero targets.

We monitor and evaluate our portfolio through robust systems to assess our sustainability milestones and to capture & optimise the value to stakeholders.

Our objective with our sustainability programme is to help build better businesses and create sustainable value.
